Case dossier

Kelly Waters had her brother Gregory committed after connecting him to three disappearances. Through the facility's pen-pal program, Gregory starts writing to you. This isn't a whodunit; you know exactly who did it. What you don't know is where he buried the bodies, and he's happy to tell you, one coded package at a time.

Other games describe their contents. We itemize ours like the prosecution will — real documents, real photographs, one box you have to earn your way into.

  • Item 01A solid metal beetle with a bronze color

    Metal Bug

A beautiful collectible metal bug casting, sent by the killer himself. A signal hiding in plain sight.

  • Item 02A wooden be house with cardboard tubes for bees to nest in

    Bee House

A real bee habitat with something unexpected tucked inside its tubes.

  • EVIDENCEA stenciled out wooden puzzle, 3 dimensional. Wings are spread.

    3D Wooden Beetle Puzzle

Put it together, there must be something to this... right?

Before you commit

The questions everyone asks.

Is this going to be too hard for me?

No. The puzzles reward close reading and a clear timeline, not trivia or math. If you get stuck, our free online Hints & Reveals page walks you through it one nudge at a time — no spoilers unless you ask for them.

Can I play solo, or do I need a group?

Both work. It's a co-op case for 1 to 6. Solo is a focused couple of hours. Nobody competes — you're all on the same side, which is the only time that's ever true at game night.

How long does it take?

About 90 minutes to two hours. Most people do it in one sitting; some split it across two nights. There's no clock and nothing expires — pause whenever, the body will keep.

Do I need the internet to play?

Some cases include a digital component — a website or online evidence you access as part of the story. Any phone, tablet, or laptop works, and everything you need to log in is inside the box.

Is this a subscription?

No. One box, one case, one payment. Solve it and you own a very strange coffee-table object forever. Want the next one? You come back and buy the next one.

Does it make a good gift?

Alarmingly good. Use gift mode at checkout to add a recipient name, schedule the delivery, and hide the price. It reads as thoughtful and slightly unhinged, which is the correct gift.

If this case didn't take you long enough

The next body's already waiting.
